Super DadIs your Dad useful? Is he? What do you use him for? A paper-weight? A draft-excluder; is he just ‘good old Dad?’

Why do we celebrate Father’s Day?

Wikipedia, as always, misses the point. Father’s Day has nothing to do with some women kicking it all off with a local church service and everything with getting him to give you a lift to the party. We want Dad to know that he is valued as long as the pocket money keeps coming, he picks us up after the pubs close, and he takes us on holiday.

How do we Reward Dad?

We constantly complain we don’t have enough money or a social life without his driving skills. Sometimes we may show him what he means to us and our everyday trials and tribulations. I like the idea of going out and doing stuff with Dad; not just giving him a present. View London has some Father’s Day Ideas that are more active and for all the family to enjoy.

What is Dad’s Name?

I was always shocked when a person called my Dad by name; to me he was always ‘Dad.’ You can give Dad a special boost by using his name. You could use this Father’s Day Gift Idea from a local paper in Shropshire. In the marketing world there is a saying about the most important words in the language being your own name.

Here at NotMoreSocks.com we believe in Dad, we believe he always tries to do the right thing and we believe Father’s Day gifts should be personal.
